Warm welcome to the Sri Lankan fashion at the Victorian Parliament Featured

The Sri Lankan girls from Victoria received a warm welcome at the Parliament on the invitation of the Speaker few days ago. 

As Melbourne ranked world's most liveable city for the sixth consecutive year and the very proud girls were dressed in their cultural outfits with a simple fashion, were showing their culture to the public with a photo shoot. 


The Sri Lankan Consul General for Victoria Mr Prassana Gamage together with AusLanka Business Council President Mr Vijaya Karunasena posed for the photograph on the steps of the Parliament . The girl were managed by Kaushi Iddamalgoda , Chris Cannon MD for AmericanSUV Limousines provided a Luxury Hummer for the girls to travel to Parliament and around the city. Mr Don S Katugampola – Fairfield Lawyers hosted the girls for a morning coffee after the visit to Parliament . The girls who volunteered were Samadhi Suraweera, Umanga Iddamalgoda, Heshini Vishwa, Hiranya Iddamalgoda, Mariam Rizvi, Samantha de Silva and Ushika Iddamalgoda.
