Sri Lankan Passport Fees Increased from 1 Jan Featured

 The passport fee has been increased from January 1 according to 2016 Budget proposals.

According to the Government Information Department the fee imposed for the 'All Countries passport' has been increased from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3000. The fee for an All Countries passport for minors below the age of 16 years has been increased from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000.

The fee for the one-day service has been increased from Rs. 7500 to Rs. 10,000.

Dual citizenship fees have also been increased with the main applicant fee being increased from Rs. 250,000 to Rs. 300,000.
